Seminole Second Saturdays are back!!

Last month, on July 10th, we had our inaugural Second Saturday Event and it was a huge success! We are excited to bring it back for August 14th! We had planned a sock hop to be our social feature this month, but due to covid, we had to cut it back to just art and vendors. We hope that everyone will come out and enjoy some lunch and shopping and supporting the Seminole Arts Council simultaneously! Here’s a little bit of what will be downtown during August’s Second Saturday:

The Art Fandango - Tattoo and Art Gallery

Debo Osborne

Did you know Seminole has its very own resident wizard? You think we’re joking, but we’re not. Debo is a lifelong resident of Seminole County, and has been tattooing in Seminole for decades. His shop is located on Oak Street, and he will be set up at our event selling tattoos for inanimate objects (stickers). Debo has also been a long time supporter of the Seminole Arts Council, and the arts in general. You can check out his Facebook page here.

Tom Smith

Legacy & Lunacy Art

Tom is an artist and educator in Seminole County, Oklahoma. His watercolor paintings portray colorful scenes of various wildlife, nature, and people. His work will be displayed in our art walk and he will also be attending as a vendor. We encourage you all to say hi to Tom and consider purchasing some of his work. You can view more of his artwork here.

Memory Lane Airstream Photo Booth

Oklahoma’s very own airstream photobooth! Add a fun, and unique touch to your special day/event! This Airstream has been redesigned with photography in mind. Our booth can fit up to 12 People! The quaint look of the beautiful Airstream offers that perfect backdrop. Stream down memory lane with us!

Seminole State College

Our very own Seminole State College will be there representing their school, and offering information about their art degree programs, as well as their online degree programs. Click here for more information about SSC and enrollment.

We will also have a lot of vendors set up who will be selling hand made crafts, items, paparazzi jewelry, cleaning supplies, woodworking art, handmade wood decor, Food Trucks, and more! We will see you in the Seminole Downtown District on the Second Saturday of August!
